One of the highlights of Mount Dora is the downtown area. When you're strolling through the heart of downtown Mount Dora, it's like stepping into an old Florida time capsule. The downtown area here is a total gem – it is a cozy, friendly, and super quaint village that you will fall in love with.

As you wander around, you're surrounded by shops and boutiques highlighting everything from vintage stores that'll have you feeling nostalgic, to artsy galleries that'll make you appreciate the local talent. But the best part is the vibe. It's like everyone in Mount Dora decided to take a chill pill and enjoy life at a slower pace. You'll see folks sitting outside, sipping on their coffees, chatting away like old pals. And some, you might stumble upon a farmers' market or a street fair that adds to the vibrance of the city.

I didn't mention the beautiful lake nearby! Yes, you've got Lake Dora right there, to add an extra touch of beauty. Down at the town boat docks is a magical place to capture some portraits with the sunset behind you and to take in the beauty of the lake.

Let's not forgot the Mount Dora Boardwalk – it's like an invitation to chill and enjoy some seriously gorgeous lakeside views. The wooden walkway that takes you right over the shimmering waters of Lake Dora. This is a perfect spot for Seniors, Families and Couples. I LOVE it here! It is one of those places that let's you forget about everything you have to do and just soak in the moment. 

I think I painted a mental picture of Mount Dora and it's true beauty.  But you have to see it to appreciate it!
